Only 2 good things with getting rained out early tonight.
Already in bed (we would have been packing up right now) & the free shower.
I feel so bad for those who put in hours & hours of work into this event.
A HUGE THANK YOU to the Mom & her son who stopped & helped us pack up all the canned goods. I didn't get your names but I hope you realize how grateful we are. Please stop by the farm during our open hours so we can properly thank you.
Also another HUGE THANK YOU to Nicole & Cami for helping us load up & giving me and a few random chairs of ours a ride home.
Our daughter Ashley had helped us setup & she brought some stuff in her car. She was going to come & help us take down at 10. We didn't even get a chance to text her when the storm hit. So we had extras that we had no room for.

We made a dent in our canned goods (not literally). We do have a lot left though. I am not sure what we will do with the remaining.

First we need to dry out everything tomorrow & then go from there. Thank you to everyone who stopped by tonight. We really appreciate you all.

Baking up nicely.
Fresh bread at 11 am when we open in the full store. The triple chocolate caramel stuffed cookies 🍪 are already out.

Breads today: garlic herb and cheese bread
Jalapeño garlic herb and cheese bread
Strawberry rhubarb bread
& white bread!

I know some of you were disappointed you didn't get the Strawberry rhubarb bread last week so I decided to make some this week too 😃.

Remember we close at 3 today to go & get setup for Summer Kickoff. We will have our canned goods 30% off!

Hey I know I forgot to post today farm family. Headache all day 😫

Just a heads up on the plants. Its getting real here. And by real I mean really limited.
I have updated the website (www.beesandblossomsfarm.com) on what we have left. There are a few varieties we only have one plant of that I did take off the website. I don't want someone coming for that plant to only find one or that someone bought it & I hadn't gotten a chance to remove it yet. I am thinking this weekend will be pretty much the last weekend of plants.

Friday we close early because we will be at the Summer Kickoff ☀️. So we will be closing at 3 pm & will NOT be around to sell plants. We are actually taking down the tent (we need it for Summer Kickoff) so all plants will be inside & not available while we are gone.

Please remember if you need help with plants ring the doorbell. Please do not let yourself into the tent if we are not around. Thanks 😊

We will be there with our canned goods at 30% off! Be sure to stop by & stock up! We will hold your purchase (from us) until you are ready to leave. That way you are not hauling around heavy canned items at the festival. Cross your fingers that the weather is good.

☀️ SUMMER KICKOFF WEATHER UPDATE ☀️
We are aware of the current weather forecast for Friday’s Summer Kickoff in downtown New London and want our community, vendors, sponsors, and visitors to know that we are actively monitoring conditions very closely.
At this time, we are continuing to move forward with Summer Kickoff as planned. ❤️
As many of you know, Wisconsin weather can change quickly, and while there is a chance of storms in the forecast, there is also still plenty of opportunity for a beautiful evening downtown. Our goal is always to bring our community an amazing event while keeping safety our top priority.
We will NEVER put attendees, vendors, volunteers, entertainers, or staff in a dangerous situation.
To prepare, our team is:
✔️ Monitoring weather and radar continuously leading up to and during the event
✔️ Working closely with local emergency services and event partners
✔️ Reviewing severe weather and shelter procedures
✔️ Communicating directly with vendors and entertainment teams
✔️ Asking all vendors to ensure tents are properly weighted and secured

At this time, there are NO changes to the event schedule.
We know how much this event means to our community, local businesses, food trucks, musicians, nonprofits, vendors, and families. After drawing nearly 5,000 visitors last year, we are incredibly excited to bring Summer Kickoff back to downtown New London this Friday with Nashville Pipeline, the Night Market, beer garden, food, entertainment, and activities for all ages. 🇺🇸🌟

Please continue preparing as scheduled and make sure your tents, displays, and signage are properly secured for possible wind conditions. We will continue communicating updates if needed.

Happy Terrific Tuesday farm family.
We are open in self-serve today until 7. The full store is not open again until Friday. However if you need plants & we are around we will come out & help. Please do not open the tent yourself. Thanks

Produce: fresh harvested lettuce, kale, radishes, beets, asparagus, green onions, kohlrabi, broccoli & chive blossoms. Cilantro will be out a little later.

Bakery is sold out until Friday. Thank you for all your support 🙏 ❤️

Bouquets 💐: 3 beautiful bouquets are only $5 each. Peonies look like they are about a week or so out from being ready. Mine are way behind due to the flood. I ended up losing 4 of my plants 😔.

Plants sale: again we are technically not open today but we will come out & help you if available. The current list of what is available is on our website: www.beesandblossomsfarm.com
I am thinking we will have plants for about another week or so. Get them while you can.

We will be at Summer Kickoff (even though they are calling for rain 😬). We are next to Lynn Tank Agency building. We are hoping to sell off most of our canned goods there, so please stop by. Happy June farm family ☺️
We are open until 3 in the full store & 7 in self-serve. We take cash, card and venmo.

Bakery: 1 lonely loaf of white bread is left for free! Fresh bakery is every Friday. The June bakery menu is up.

Produce: FRESH HARVESTED THIS MORNING Lettuce special, spinach (the last for a few weeks), beets, radishes, kohlrabi, green onions, cilantro, chive blossoms, asparagus, & broccoli (very limited on the cauliflower & broccoli).

3 fresh cut this morning bouquets 💐. Just like last year only $5 each!

Plants! We have all of our plants out that we have available. Several varieties have sold out. Check out the website for the most up to date list of what is available. (beesandblossomsfarm.com).
We are SOLD OUT OF ROMA TOMATOES.
We still have several amazing very tasty varieties left. When I make sauces & salsa I use a variety of tomatoes & peppers for a complex and amazing flavor. Don't be afraid to try something different.
Geraniums are only $1 each!
We put together some beautiful planters. The price is $10-$20 each depending on the size. They are not super full right now but they will grow out & last you longer through the summer because of that.
Plant sales will probably wrap up in a couple weeks.

Our June hours are posted. As the month goes on we will add more varieties of produce to the store. Thank you so much for supporting us.
