From baby birds to full feathers at just four weeks old. In another three to four weeks these young quail will be fully matured and producing eggs! Quail eggs are a excellent alternative. With more protein by weight, one-third more B12 and twice the amount of iron/riboflavin compared to a chicken egg. While these eggs are packed and nutrient dense sadly they are much smaller than a regular size chicken or duck egg. Approximately three quail eggs are equivalent to one chicken egg. We plan to sell our excess quail eggs once these beautiful hens start laying for us in the next few weeks. Prices per dozen will be announced in the near future.
