عراقی حکام کے مطابق ایران سے عراق کے لیے گیس ایکسپورٹ بند ہوگئی ہے۔

Do we ever pause for a moment and think about where our money ultimately goes?

When an Indian-owned entity pays a Pakistani cricketer like Abrar Ahmed to play in leagues such as The Hundred, that money doesn’t just stop at the player. A portion of it goes to taxes in Pakistan. And those taxes strengthen the same system that funds weapons and policies often directed against India.

So I ask myself — are we really thinking this through?

I’m not questioning talent. Cricket is cricket, and players are players. But when the owner is Indian — whether the team plays in India or overseas — the moral responsibility doesn’t disappear.

As Indians, shouldn’t we at least ask whether the money we generate could indirectly contribute to a system that harms our own soldiers and civilians?

For me, the question is bigger than a franchise, bigger than a league, and definitely bigger than entertainment.

So let me ask this openly:
Is winning a trophy in a format that hardly any country even plays really more important than the lives and sacrifices of Indian soldiers?

Because if we don’t ask this question now, when will we?
