Good morning! We get these question all-the-time! So we thought we might do an all in one spot update.

🌟 Who are we?
Blue Meadow Beef is a family owned and operated farm in Henry County, KY. Josh and Ashley Pyles-and their three kids; Arianna, Blakeley, and Solomon, work every day to take care of their animals and keep everyone safe and healthy.

🌟 What do we offer?
Blue Meadow offers pretty much all things beef and chicken. If we don’t have it in stock, usually we can get it in our next harvesting! We raise angus based beef, pasture raised egg layers, and pasture raised Cornish cross chickens. All of our animals are raised hormone, steroid, and antibiotic free to be used in our farm to table sales! Our beef and chicken is raised on grass pasture with free access to as much grain, grass, hay, and water as they like (once they reach a full feed level).

🌟 How do you shop?
You can find us a multiple farmers markets in and around Henry County and surrounding counties. You can also get get your order delivered directly to your door, or order online and come visit us at the farm to pick up!

🌟 Who can shop?
Short answer? Anyone! We sell directly to every day people locally, and as far away as Florida! We sell in a local store, Wilders Corner, in Smithfield, KY. We sell beef directly to restaurants in Lexington, Louisville, Cincinatti, and a couple restaurants in Indiana through the Berry Beef program. We also sell chicken directly to a restaurant in Louisville, KY.

We are so proud of this life that we have built with our family, and in our community, and hope you join with us! Feel free to ask any questions you have below and we will be happy to answer!

Friends, an exciting opportunity for you from our friends at The Library of America and !

The weekend of February 20–22, Library of America and the Berry Center present a free, limited-time online screening of LOOK & SEE: A PORTRAIT OF WENDELL BERRY, filmmaker Laura Dunn’s captivating documentary about the novelist, poet, farmer, and activist who has been compared to Faulkner for his extraordinary renderings of a place and its people.

The film situates Berry in his element: Henry County, Kentucky—Berry’s hometown and a site of ongoing tension between agrarian tradition and relentless industrialization.

To watch, please RSVP at this link and we’ll send you an e-mail with a private link to watch the film, which you can view anytime during the screening period: https://email.loa.org/h/i/3CEFCEC85E595373

Don't miss out, friends. Get that free screening and Q+A on your calendar by heading over to the link below!
