We told you she’d be back!

Some have seen sightings over Liberty, others are certain they’ve seen something dark and brooding flying over Hurleyville. All we know is that if you haven’t seen or heard something stirring lately, you will by week’s end.Now keep your eyes toward the sky when the moon breaks a sweat, you just may capture a glimpse today or tonight right above the hills. We don’t know where her destination is but some believe she always flies towards the West.

The children below should have no fear. That is as long as they stay out of her way and never look into her steely eyes. For that is the only way for her to reach into their souls. Otherwise she is no more dangerous than a barn owl or flying rodent with a broom.

Now go and plan your trick or treat celebration, don’t stay up too late or eat too much candy — sing and dance until the last moonbeam glistens and shines across Shumway Road.

Have a happy and safe Halloween!
