Sunny Slope Orchard has been an icon in the stark county area for over 90 years! In 2013, the Isaac and Neva Yoder family purchased the orchard business from the third-generation Baker family. Our goal is to revive high-quality fruit, grown right here on our farm, with tree ripened freshness that you will not find at the grocery store! We grow over 30 varieties of apples, ripening from August 1 through October, 6 acres of peaches ripening in August, and 3 acres of strawberries, ripening in June!
We want you to connect with our farm by offering “Pick Your Own”, so that you can see and experience the real value of “locally grown”.
Our retail store is open year-round, offering items like organic local eggs, non-homogenized local milk,raw honey, maple syrup, our own vinegar made in a wooden barrel and bottled in glass jars, our own applesauce and apple butter, dried apple slices, and our own unpasteurized cider. Don’t forget the fresh baked goods & delicious deli meats and cheeses, and much more!
