Natick Center Farmers' Market features fresh fish, organic meats, fruits, vegetables, baked goods, including gluten free, cheese, coffee, and a variety of value added products such as dips, marinades, sauces, granola, pasta and chocolates. All products are grown or processed by the vendor. The market is designed to support local farmers and emerging food businesses in order to promote healthy eating.

If you are a crafter and want to participate in the winter market...know that I am already pretty full until January. No forms are going out, so contact me at [email protected] for available dates. As I add more food choices, I have fewer spaces for crafters. Good for the bellies, not so good for the gift givers. I guess that means you need to come to market every week and start shopping early so you don't miss out!

We keep getting better! This week you can come for breakfast at the market...there will be waffles and dosas...made to order...perfect for a Saturday morning and a great way to keep up your shopping energy. Batter Up is joining the market so we now offer breakfast and lunch!!! The Daily Dish, The Bone Sauce and Caribbean Press, (who will be parked on S. Main) I just hope I can fit everyone else on Common Street. Please tell me where I can take a course in saying NO. Why do I feel as if I am depriving you of goodies when I do???? We also have the Bookmobile this week, on the corner of Park Street, near Foppema Farm.

What a way to end our summer season! I was expecting storms of biblical proportions, which is why I cancelled the market. At least I got to sleep until 7:30 for the first Saturday in decades. I'd trade that extra hour for my market any Saturday!. Please remember that we move to Common Street next week, so when you drive downtown and see an empty Common, remember we moved a bit south and will be there waiting for you. I know you will forget so I will keep reminding you...we move inside on November 7th because we are YEAR ROUND!! and you appreciate it...as much as we appreciate all of you..I am already scheduling crafters for your handmade holiday shopping. Stay dry and we look forward to seeing you next Saturday in our October location.

For the second week in a row you will have to miss your fresh foods and produce at the market because...I don't want you dodging tents on Saturday! The weather will be challenging and for the first time in 25 years, I am cancelling the market. We are all disappointed but safety always comes first. The good news is that the following week is October 3rd and we are on Common Street. We will be there every Saturday until October 31st. For all of you who love the European feel of the street fair/market...we are glad to bring you joy. Take care to stay dry and safe this weekend and we will see you in October.

There will be no market this week because it will be Natick Day(s)! This is the time to support some of the many non-profit and service organizations in town, while having fun and getting the kids tired enough to go to sleep without a fuss...(dream on...). There will be food and games and the chance to learn about the many supports in the community. From 10 am to 3 pm, the Common will be buzzing, just not with the market vendors...we will be back on the 26th with all your favorites and maybe a few new items...

It was a beautiful day and the market was humming...keep that thought in mind as you remember the market will be back on September 26th. We are taking the week off because if it time for NATICK DAYS! Next Saturday will feature all the non profit and youth groups that make up our wonderful community. Come, buy, eat, and support those who support you and your neighbors. Thank you Natick Recreation and Parks, among many others, for all the work put in making this event such a success.

Speaking of artists...there will be a free show at Shaw Park this Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm with over 2 dozen local arts and artisans at the annual Art in the Park. Another chance to appreciate the talent in our community and ask the arts why and how...it is a chance to feel good and forget the mess the world is in for a bit. (Sorry to be judgemental but I don't understand how there can be so many people doing wrong....it hurts my heart.)

Watch for even more new vendors (where will I put them???) as we plan for the Winter Market which moves inside November 7th. Tell your friends, (who don't pay attention!) that we do not stop ,except for Natick Days on the 19th...so there is no reason to deprive yourself of any goodies. Other goodies are available that have no calories...at the Natick Art Association Show at the Morse Institute Library. There will be a reception this evening at 6:30 so you can meet and talk with many of the local artists who created the show.
