Introducing Our New Guest Chef Series!

One of the best things about a farmers market is discovering fresh, local ingredients. But what happens after you get them home?

We’re excited to launch our new Guest Chef Series, where local chefs, business owners, and food lovers will shop the HIP Donelson Community Farmers Market and then show us what they create with their market finds.

Our very first Guest Chef is Kayla of The Bagelshop, one of our valued HIP Donelson sponsors and a passionate supporter of local food. After shopping the market, she headed home and created this incredible homemade pizza featuring fresh ingredients from our vendors.

We love seeing our community support local farmers, makers, and small businesses and then turn those purchases into something delicious.

Stay tuned as more Guest Chefs take on the challenge throughout the season. You might even discover your next favorite recipe!

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Memorial Day is more than the unofficial start of summer, it’s a moment to reflect on sacrifice, courage, and the freedoms we enjoy because of those who never made it home.

As we gather with family, friends, and neighbors today, may we also carry gratitude in our hearts for the heroes and Gold Star families who have paid the ultimate price.

From all of us at HIP Donelson, we remember and honor them today and always.
