🍂 Must-Try This Fall at the Narrowsburg Farmers’ Market
There’s so much good stuff at the market right now that we couldn’t possibly fit it all into one post.
So consider this Part One of our fall must-try list — a little inspiration for what to eat, cook, sip, slather, and bring home this season.
A few things to put on your fall market list:
🍥 Cinnamon buns from Cakes & Scones Bakery — do we really need to explain this one?
🍎 Apples from Trapani Farm — eat them as they are, bake something delicious, make applesauce… it’s fall. You know what to do.
🧅 Onions from Two Creek Farm — because nearly every good fall meal starts here.
🌿 Leeks from Willow Wisp Organic Farm — for soups, roasted vegetables, pastas, and all the cozy cooking.
🍄 Mushrooms from Lordville Farms — sauté them, roast them, add them to soup, pasta, eggs, risotto… yes please.
🍁🍯 Maple syrup from Journeys End Farm + raw honey from Two Creek Farm — two local staples worth keeping in the pantry all season long.
🥣 Frozen soups from Soraia's Kitchen — dinner on a chilly night = handled.
🧀 Cheddar cheese twists from Be Kind Bakehouse — flaky, cheesy goodness that deserves a spot in your market bag.
🧴 Magnesium Herbal Healing Body Butter from Yemallah Naturals + Moor Acres Farm — a little extra tending for your body as we move into cooler, drier days.
And this is only the beginning of what you’ll find 🍂
Come wander the market, see what’s in season, talk to the people who grow and make your food, and bring a little bit of fall home with you.
OPEN every Saturday in October, 10am-1pm, rain or shine!
🍎 Eat local. Shop local.
