INGREDIENTS:
• Fish – 1 lb (2-inch pieces; salmon, cod, or tilapia)
• Black pepper – 1 tsp
• Salt – 1/2 tsp
• Garlic powder – 1/2 tsp
• Corn starch – 2 Tbsp
Dry Seasoning Mix
• Salt – 1 tsp
• Black pepper – 1 tsp
• Sugar – 2 tsp
Tempering
• Jalapeño – 1 medium (chopped)
• Onion – 1 medium (chopped)
• Garlic – 4–5 cloves (minced)
• Oil for frying
INSTRUCTIONS:
1️⃣ In a bowl, add fish, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and corn starch. Mix well and marinate 10–15 minutes.
2️⃣ Heat oil and fry fish in batches until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
3️⃣ In a small bowl, mix salt, black pepper, and sugar for the dry seasoning.
4️⃣ Heat 2 Tbsp oil in a pan. Add garlic, onion, and jalapeño. Sauté for 2–3 minutes.
5️⃣ Add fried fish, sprinkle dry seasoning, and toss everything together.
6️⃣ Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
