Hi everyone! Our family is new to farming and building out our orchard, and we’re looking for wood chips to use as mulch around our trees and garden beds.

Does anyone know if local municipalities or tree companies ever give them away, or where we might be able to pick some up? After all the recent storms, I figured there might be a good way to put some of that wood to use.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Mondays aren’t so bad when the “office” comes with orchard views and the soundtrack of birds waking up. 🐦✨

This week’s to-do list looks a little different here:
🍑 Keep an eye on the peach trees (they’re showing off already).
🌿 Give the herbs a trim so they stay bushy and happy.
🐕 Make sure Scout the farm pup doesn’t “reorganize” the compost pile again.

Here’s to starting the week with muddy boots, fresh air, and a reminder that growth takes time. 💚
