Well friends the weather here in Idaho is cold. We've tucked everyone in for the winter and look forward to babies next spring. Have a great Thanksgiving and a very Merry Christmas.

This year was a rough one for my birds. Lost a lot during our nasty winter. I ordered breeding stock in for next Summer. Fingers crossed everyone survives and thrives. Working full time doesn't help much except to give me monies for more birds (lol). The baby geese are almost grown and several have went to new homes along with the guinea fowls.

I can't believe it's almost the end of July - this year's hatching was terrible. I truly feel it was due to the nasty winter and the loses incurring because of it. I've ordered in new stock for next year and I pray it will be better.
