Mountain Farm and Craft Market CLOSURE
The Mountain Farm and Craft Market opened November 2020 with the following goal: Our purpose is to provide a year round venue for local farmers, food vendors, crafters and artisans to have the opportunity to sell their goods and products to the local public; to educate the public on benefits of buying fresh foods and shopping local; to build a community environment where the community can come together for fun, free activities; and to promote the local economy of Johnson County and surrounding areas.
We have loved having the opportunity to fulfill this goal! However, the time has come that the Market must close. We hope that you all have fond memories of the market and will continue to support local businesses. Our vendors will still be available directly, and at other local venues.
Thank you to each and every person who made our market a great place to be! Your devotion to supporting local business helped many of our vendors expand their businesses and better support their families. Your support also allowed us to support this community through donations, fundraising, and education.
By law, all non-profit organizations must donate remaining funds to a charity or other non-profit organization. We have chosen the Johnson County Safe Haven as the recipient of our remaining funds. We hope these funds will create a healthier community by providing emergency assistance to families experiencing domestic violence.
Sincerely,
Daniell Bogard and Tracy Presnell
