Hodge Farms

Hodge Farms Hodge Farms began manufacturing livestock feeds twenty-five years ago. At that time Robie Hodge was showing Quarter Horses and taking his own feed to the shows.

Other participants began to inquire about his feed and asked if he would manufacture some for them. Word spread and the business was started. Robie worked with various veterinarians and perfected the formulas for his feeds. Robie passed away in 2008, but his wife, Ruth, and sons, Robert and Joe, continue to manufacture the feeds with the same quality ingredients. We are the only family owned mill

in the area and are able to manufacture small quantities of feed to the customer's specifications. We also grow quality horse hay which is tested for protein and is sold with a guarantee.

June is dedicated as National Pollinator Month, serving as a critical reminder that bees, butterflies, birds, and other pollinators are responsible for one out of every three bites of food we eat. It is the perfect time to protect these vital creatures by planting native flowers, reducing pesticide use, and building welcoming backyard habitats.

Why Pollinators MatterThe Food Supply: Pollinators directly support the reproduction of over 150 food crops in the U.S. and are essential for fruits, vegetables, and nuts.

Ecosystem Health: They sustain flowering plants and wildflowers, which prevent soil erosion and support diverse wildlife.Species Decline: Many vital pollinators, like honey bees and monarch butterflies, face population declines, making habitat creation more important than ever.

When you kill all the “weeds” you kill life. Think about the pollinators when you spray.
