Well, friends, we tried to make a second drop today, but sometimes life has other plans. An accident caused significant traffic delays, and it took Jay over an hour just to make it back to the kitchen. Unfortunately, we won't make it back to the market before closing.
The good news? We will be making an early morning delivery tomorrow, including fresh raw milk from Boundary Creek Farm, and the menu is looking absolutely incredible.
Fresh from the kitchen for tomorrow:
• Butter Bean & Local Okra Soup made with beautiful seasonal produce
• Summer Vegetable Quiche (vegetarian) with hand-grated cheddar, pepper jack, summer squash, local tomatoes, sweet Vidalia onions, and Lowcountry Creamery crème fraîche
• Chicken & Smoked Andouille Sausage Tomato Creole served over steamed white rice
• Fresh Tomato Pies
• Gluten-Free Grass-Fed Meatballs with homemade marinara crafted from local Johns Island tomatoes, fresh garlic, fresh basil, topped with mozzarella and Pecorino Romano
Tomorrow we'll also be preparing:
• Crab Quiche
• More Crab Corn Chowder
• Fresh Chicken Salad
• Fresh Pimento Cheese
And of course, we'll be replenishing all of your favorite sides so the case is fully stocked and ready for the weekend.
Dessert production starts first thing in the morning:
• Peanut Butter Pie
• Key Lime Pie
• Banana Pudding
As always, we're restocking fresh local produce every single day.
Thank you for your patience and support. We hope everyone made it home safely today. We'll see you bright and early tomorrow morning.
