In 2022, this dream started with just a couple of cows, a lot of faith, and a family willing to work hard.

Today, as we stand in front of the framework of what will soon be our retail meat store, it's hard to put into words what this moment means to us.

What many people see is a building going up on a hill. What we see are four years of early mornings, late nights, long weekends, sacrifices, setbacks, victories, and countless prayers. We see our life savings, our hard work, and our family's heart poured into every step of this journey.

Gate Keeper Cattle Co. has truly been a family effort. From our youngest at 9 years old to our oldest at 20, every one of our kids has played a role in helping build this business. Whether it was working cattle, helping at farmers markets, packing orders, loading freezers, or simply believing in the dream, this business belongs to all of us.

There have been moments when we questioned whether we could keep going. There have been hurdles we never expected and challenges that tested us. Building something from scratch is exciting, but it's also scary. Yet through every obstacle, God has continued to open doors and guide our path.

This store isn't just about selling American Wagyu beef and pasture-raised pork. It's about investing in our community, supporting local agriculture, creating something meaningful for future generations, and leaving a legacy for our children.

We know we wouldn't be here without the support of our family, friends, customers, neighbors, and community. Every order, every share, every kind word, and every recommendation has helped us get to this point. For that, we are incredibly grateful.

As we begin this next chapter, we're equal parts excited and nervous. But mostly, we're thankful. Thankful for how far we've come, thankful for the people who have supported us along the way, and thankful for what the future holds.

This building sits high on a hill, but we know we didn't get here on our own. God's hand has been in every part of this journey.
