As many of you know I have been in the process of starting a Gluten-Free baking business. California makes it very difficult and almost impossible if you don't have a large amount of capitol to pay all the fees and purchase all the certified equipment they require. Paying to rent a commercial kitchen space on top of all the other fees and costs ends up eating any profits you can make so you can't even pay yourself. I know many others in my situation who are trying reinvent themselves since it is so difficult to get back into the workforce after you have taken off time to raise your kids. Please consider signing this petition and help to keep food local and help the people who live in your community.
