Hello Facebook friends. I am going to have an End of the season special for the next 2 weeks only; all eating apples will be half priced. Still have 11 varieties available; black twig, Fuji, yellow delicious, red delicious, granny smith, mutsu, northern spy, Jonathan, winesaps, Jona Gold, and gala, these apples are great for eating, making apple pies, apple sauce, cider, or just to fry up. We also have horse/deer apples available as well, but they are still 7$ for a peach box, don't let your horses and deer go hungry give them a sweet treat!! Store hours are Tuesday through Sunday 12-6; closed on Mondays. Thanks everyone for the support!! Hoping for a great and early spring!!

Salatin's Orchard is officially open for business!! We have peaches, early apples, zucchini, cucumbers, lots of different tomatoes, fresh picked greens; 2 kinds of kale, Swiss chard, lettuce, beets, collards, and lots of apples still to come. So come see us today, being the whole family, make your own zinnia bouquets. Enjoy your day picking your own apples or produce. Open everyday 12-6; closed Monday. Hello, to all my Facebook friends and family. It's getting to be that time of year again; we just started picking our first variety of apples (Lodi) this week, and grabapples. Salatin's Orchard is Open for business!! We figured better take advantage of 350 being closed and the traffic going by. We have frozen cider left from last press. We have 2 types peaches; red haven and freestone, Lodi apples, crabapples, green zucchini, yellow zucchini, green onion, white candy onions, red candy onions, spaghetti squash, patty pan squash, 2 kinds of egg plants, we have a variety of hot and sweet peppers, a variety of large tomatoes; 12 kinds of cherry tomatoes and a variety of red and heirlooms. We also have a variety of sunflowers and zinnias to make your own bouquets. So bring the whole family down and spend the day making your own bouquets and you can also pick your own apples. We also offer hay wagon rides through the orchard, but you must call and set that up. We have a large variety of apples coming in August and September, also have green gauge plums coming first week of August; Stanley Prune Plums will not be til September 1, We have 5 types of pears they will be coming around 8-5; 8-10; 8-20; 8-25, Pear apples will be around 8-15. We also have bi-colored sweet corn coming on now, I have been picking to order. Also coming soon we will have a variety of watermelons, and musk melons or cantaloupes; also this year we have a rare lemon cucumber. Our new hours of operation are Tuesday-Sunday 12-6. Hello, all my Facebook friends. It is that time a year again. The apple trees are in full bloom and the orchard has a lot of work that needs to be done. We are now hiring for the season. This work entails a lot of outside work, so you cant be scared of the sun. No weekend work. it would be Monday through Friday. Pay will be discussed. We have flexible hours, and there will be a lot of picking involved. Picking apples, fruits, vegtables, and produce. To all Mariemont Farmers' Market patrons who attended the market in the past years, or those who would like to attend the market this year there is still time to do so.
　　Although, The Village Bureaucracy of Mariemont has abandoned their efforts to host a summer Farmers' Market; PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THERE WILL BE A FARMERS' MARKET THIS YEAR. The market will be in the same location, and at the same time, starting June 2nd. The location will still be the elementary school parking lot (corner of Madisonville Rd and West St. Mariemont, Ohio).
　　You can find me, Richard Salatin: Salatin's Orchard, and other vendors presenting fresh local fruits, vegtables, produce, and other food related items for sale. Hope you will continue to support the local Farmers' Market and the local farmers who help establish this event.
