Hey, y'all! We are so excited to see you here! We are getting closer and closer to opening our new retail store that will also serve our wholesale meat customers until we get our Hall's Sausage plant rebuilt this fall. We started off as a wholesale meat distributor way back in 1945, when Mr. B.E. Namie opened in our original location. We were there on Iroquois Street (it was 9th street way back then) when Chickasaw started. We were one of the very first business licenses granted when the City was founded in 1946! Mr. Namie raised his family here and in 1971, he retired and sold to Mr. Donald Hall, a district manager for National Grocery. Mr. Hall added his name to the sign, and we became Hall-Namie Packing Company, Inc., which is still our official name today. Along the way, in addition to adding our famous Hall's Sausage varieties, we've sold to our neighbors, too. Some of our customers have been shopping with us for eighty years! When we lost our plant to the fire in September, we were devastated. We've been lifted up by so many of you and have been so blessed by your notes and your phone calls and most of all your prayers and encouragement. There just aren't words for what that has meant to us! We prayed and prayed about what to do, and we looked at every option we could find. Most of all, though, we missed y'all. Over the years, the neighborhood built around us, and we really needed more space. So, after much negotiating and planning, along with the help of Mayor Tyran Colvin , we are just weeks away from opening our retail meat market - Hall's Fine Meats, at 315 West Lee Street, just 200 feet off I 65 Exit 10 in Chickasaw. Our experienced butchers will be there for fresh cut meats of all kinds, both wholesale and retail. We'll have farm-fresh vegetables as well as frozen varieties, seafood, spices, seasonings and sauces, cheeses, breads, and more. We will have all the ingredients for you to go home and cook a fresh, delicious meal for your family and friends. We can't wait to see y'all!
