Cloudy wet weather is the BEST planting weather. Maybe not for you, but the plants love it. Transplanting under a hot sun is a lot of stress on your plants.... so this weekend will indeed be a good time to plant. Plus here in our short season, the time must be now. This will be the last large load of plants, and likely the last of the tomatoes and peppers. I will continue to have herbs and flowers for a few more weeks.
