🏒 NORTH STAR VAULT: UNLOCKED! 🏒

We’re known for legendary sandwiches—but North Star Deli is also collecting, preserving, and sharing Minnesota hockey history. It’s all part of owner Pedro Joao dream: grow North Star Deli across the State of Hockey and, someday, bring a minor-league team—and that beloved logo—back home. Now we’re opening the vault and sharing some of our all-time favorite hockey treasures. You might even spot a few at local events, where we bring these relics out to celebrate and support the game we love. 💚🏒

First up: a letter from Norm Green (sucks) himself about Neal Broten and the San Jose Sharks San Jose Sharks . The headline? Broten wasn’t going anywhere. 🛑🦈

As we celebrate one year of service in this wonderful community, our family at North Star Deli wants to extend our deepest gratitude to all of you. Your unwavering support has been nothing short of amazing. From our dedicated community partners to each neighbor who has made us their go-to spot for sandwiches, thank you for embracing us with open arms. Throughout a crazy start till now we didn’t know we would still be here but you guys made it possible!

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news as well! We’re expanding our reach with a new location in Apple Valley and introducing “Granny G’s, our glizzy food trailer, right here in South Minneapolis. 🏒✨ A Legendary Encounter! ✨🏒

We’re thrilled to announce that our beloved Modano Turkey Club is a winner just like our friend Mike Modano! Mike Thanks to our amazing partnership with Fan HQ Minnesota Sports Gear , Chef Pedro Pedro Joao had the incredible opportunity to spend time with the face of our deli and one of the greatest NHL players of all time. 🥇

Our Turkey Club is a staple that brings joy to our community, and now it feels even more special knowing that Mike himself is one of our biggest supporters! His follow means the world to all of us at North Star Deli, where we’ve made it our mission to be a neighborhood favorite.

We’ve been lucky to meet other hockey legends too—like Neal Broten and Dino Ciccarelli—who have stopped by and shared their legacy with us. As we grow our space, we’re dedicated to celebrating the rich history of hockey in our town especially the Minnesota North Stars. 🌟
