Did you know? We accept AND match SNAP-EBT!

SNAP dollars can be used for many products found at the market - including fruit and vegetable seedlings. Most of our farm vendors sell a variety of plants you can take home and grow yourself! 🌱

For 25 years, Sundays at the Kingfield Farmers Market have been about so much more than shopping. They’ve been about community, connection, and showing up for local farmers and makers year after year 💚

Over the past 25 seasons, we’ve welcomed hundreds of incredible vendors who have helped shape this market into what it is today. Some have been with us for decades, some are joining us for the very first time, and each season brings new stories, flavors, and friendships.

We’re so excited to announce this year’s vendor lineup and celebrate another season together in the Kingfield neighborhood. 🌻

We wanted to share 2 quick reminders.

1. Minneapolis and Minnesota, we love you. We are so proud to stand together in support of our immigrant neighbors. It’s a heavy time, but we’re proving our strength.

2. Our once-a-year vendor application period is open now through this Sunday, February 8th. If you’re a farmer, maker, or food producer looking for a values-driven, people-first marketplace, we want to hear from you! Grants are available for new and returning BIPOC vendors; grant apps also close February 8th. Learn more and apply -> https://www.neighborhoodrootsmn.org/vendors

We recognize there’s a lot of uncertainty and worry around everyday decisions right now. Asking small businesses to think about committing to events taking place 3 months from now is nuts. However, it’s what we have to do to plan our programming in time. That said, if you’re not ready to complete an application by Sunday’s deadline, we still want to hear from you.

Our markets will always be welcoming places to gather, connect, and find comfort in familiar faces and good food.

We're Hiring!!

We’re hiring a Marketing & Operations Coordinator to support and promote Neighborhood Roots’ farmers markets in South Minneapolis.

This part-time, hybrid role blends hands-on market day leadership with behind-the-scenes marketing and communications work. You’ll help markets run smoothly, support vendors and volunteers, and create engaging content that highlights farmers, food, and community.

Details:
• Part-time, seasonal (10–25 hrs/week May - October, 2-10 hrs/week November - April)
• $21–$23/hour + monthly health insurance & technology stipend
• Hybrid: on-site during markets, remote admin work
• Priority application deadline: February 16
