Visit our Sunday Market this week, we have some wonderful vendor’s. The Market operates for 9am to 2pm

DBC will have Chicken’n Waffles 9am to 11:30
Breakfast Crostata, Savory Scones, and yes Cinnamon Rolls at 10am.
Chocolate, Gelato, Pastry and Smiles.

Our Market returns for the final few weekends-weather permitting. This Sunday we have a great line-up.

DBC began as a Pop-Up/Event and Wholesale business, our big break was joining a small Outdoor Christmas Market for 4 weekends in December of 2018. It was an extremely difficult and cold way to “make a buck” but we think back on those days as some of our biggest steps forward for DBC.

We have spent the past 3 years building a small Artisan Food & Art Market in the Victory Neighborhood. Below are some facts about our 2024 Market.

-Dancing Bear does not charge a Vendor Fee of any kind, our vendors operate free of charge.
-The Sunday Market is licensed & insured at DBC expense.
-Vendors are selected at the sole discretion of Dancing Bear and must have all State/County/City licensing/permits. Cottage Food Producers must have State Permit, Nonprofits need to submit their 501c3 number.
-Vendors are allowed to sign up for as many dates as they want. This allows the vendors to try their idea without a huge commitment. This also allows for Seasonal Vendors like seedlings in the spring to Holiday Wreaths/decor, garlic and Pumpkins.
-The backyard at DBC was completely re-landscaped in-part to better accommodate the Sunday Market. This expense was paid by DBC.

Why do we do this?? It all goes back to how Dancing Bear got its start. Operating a small business is difficult and yes many fail but we believe in the power of small businesses to enrich the communities they serve. We want to encourage anyone who has an idea or a DREAM to give it a go, try it out, we welcome that. Becoming a Cottage Food Producer is a great way to launch a food business. (Link in the comments)

Breakfast Quesadilla are available 9am to Noon, Chicken, Carnitas-pork or Vegetarian.
DBC is open on Sundays 8:30am to 5pm.

The week the Sunday Market vendors include;

Katherine Bogus Creek Garlic Farm will have fresh garlic scapes, They are great to eat off the grill with a drizzle of oil, made into scape pesto or scape garlic butter. Plus dried garlic products (garlic powder, garlic salt and scape salt)

Kim will be here from U of M Turf Grass to talk with you about your lawn issues.

Marigold Makes LLC, bags (totes, slings, pouches and wristlets) and baby items (burp cloths, bibs), sewing all sorts of things for 30+ years

Duckie Uplings, Handmade stuffed animals with a quirky twist, Duckie Uglings is a one-woman, two cat operation out of St Paul, MN!

NOTE-Swirl Top Baking will NOT be at the Market this week. They return July 14.

The one, the ONLY! Krissy Kringle returns to Dancing Bear Chocolate on Sunday Dec 10 for the 2023 DBC Jingle Market.
Join us for a day of fun, Santa and Mrs Claus, Artisan vendors , carolers. Don’t forget to pick up some amazing Chocolate, Gelato, Pastry and a Smile! The Jungle Market is from 10am to 2pm. Dancing Bear is open 8:30am to 5pm on Sundays.
