🍼🐾 Bottle Baby Foster Families Needed! 🐾🍼

Kitten season is in full swing, and our rescue is urgently looking for compassionate foster families to care for newborn kittens who need bottle feeding around the clock.

These tiny babies are often orphaned or separated from their mothers and depend on dedicated fosters to help them survive and thrive. We’d prefer to have folks who have experience, but are also willing to train the right person!

Fostering bottle babies is a commitment, but it’s also one of the most rewarding ways to save lives. Watching these fragile little kittens grow stronger each day is truly incredible.

✔️ Ongoing support

🏡 You provide:
✔️ A safe, loving space
✔️ Time for feedings and care every 2-3 hours

🐄🧀 June is Dairy Month in Wisconsin! 🧀🐄

Did you know Wisconsin is home to nearly 5,000 dairy farms, more than any other state in the nation? Or that we produce about 25% of all the cheese made in the United States? It's no wonder we're proudly known as America's Dairyland.

Here in Mineral Point, we're fortunate to have a world-renowned cheesemaker right in our backyard. Each week, PJ's Poultry brings a selection of award-winning Hook's Cheese to market alongside their home-raised chicken.

As you celebrate Dairy Month this June, take a moment to appreciate the farmers, cheesemakers, and agricultural families who help make Wisconsin such a special place to call home. 💛

Here’s to doing more great work in 2026 🥂!

🎆 A year in numbers 🎆

Day by day it doesn’t feel like we are making much of an impact, but when the year comes to an end and we see these numbers it feels incredible. Thinking of the 252 cats who went from being homeless or neglected to living in happy homes brings tears to our eyes. 482 spay and nueters really proves where our hard work paid off. We spent numerous weekends trapping cats to help reduce the over population crisis. 482 less cats will be reproducing this spring. The coolest part about that statistic is that the costs of all of those surgeries were covered by our incredible donors. Many of the TNR projects are completely probono for the cat care takers and we couldn’t do that without all of your support.
