Purveyors of old-world Italian specialties in the heart of Milwaukee's East Side. Fresh, handmade sausages, mouthwatering deli creations and piping hot pizza are just a few of our specialties. Browse our aisles of cheese, wine and pasta. Linger over the amazing selection of olive oils, fresh and frozen pastas, and delicious bakery creations. With a vast array of olives, cheeses, wines, imported me

ats and delectable sandwiches, along with pastries, cookies, and gelato, Glorioso’s is the perfect stop for a great meal. Glorioso’s has been tantalizing the public’s taste buds with rare Mediterranean treats for over 78 years. Once you enter the store, you can see that this is one store that has kept its old world charm. As you walk through the store, you will see family photos scattered throughout. If you stay long enough, you’re bound to run into Ted, one of the founding brothers, ready to fill you in on the history behind each photograph: from pictures when they got out of the service in WWII, to the first truck they bought for the store, to the TV commercials that feature cameos of two more family members. But if the looks alone aren’t enough, just inhale deeply and you will catch the aroma of one of the many secret family recipes wafting from the back deli. It could be Nonno Felice’s sausage recipe, made fresh daily. Or it could be the house marinara sauce simmering on the stove. Or the Trio’s pizza baking to perfection in the oven. Glorioso’s won the award for Wisconsin Family Business of the Year in 2007, and has had numerous articles written about us in the Milwaukee Journal and the Shepherd Express. We have won “Milwaukee’s Best Deli" from OnMilwaukee.com every year since 2009(!) and our new store has received several awards for its innovative design.

At Glorioso's Italian Market, we love seeing our team take on new challenges—both in the store and on the pitcher's mound! We are incredibly proud of our Deli Manager, Pat Menting, who was invited to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at yesterday’s Milwaukee vs. St. Louis baseball game. Thank you for always giving 100%!

Pecorino vs. Parmesan: What’s the difference? They may look similar, but these two classic Italian cheeses bring very different flavors to the table.

🧀Pecorino is made from sheep’s milk and has a sharper, saltier bite, while Parmesan is made from cow’s milk and is nuttier, milder, and more savory.

🧀Pecorino is great for bold pasta dishes like Carbonara and Cacio e Pepe, while Parmesan works beautifully on pasta, soups, risotto, and boards.

What is Pinsa Crust?
Inspired by an ancient Roman recipe, pinsa is a light, airy crust that’s revered for its crisp texture and dynamic flavor profile.

This refined recipe is made from a revolutionary blend of non-GMO flours: wheat, rice, soy, and sourdough. These ingredients are meticulously fermented, hand-pressed, and par-baked to create pinsa—the upgrade from traditional pizza crust.

Understanding the difference between whole, pitted, and cracked olives is all about choosing the right balance of flavor, texture, and convenience for your meal.

Whole = Crunchiest, maximum flavor (ideal for boards).
Pitted = Convenient, great for cooking and snacking.
Cracked = Tender, soaks up your favorite marinades.

Stop by Glorioso's Italian Market and check out our wide selection of olives.
