🐣 100 Cornish Cross Chicks Have Arrived! 🐣

Today was hatchery pickup day, and we brought home another 100 more Cornish Cross chicks!
We're excited to watch them grow over the coming weeks and continue providing quality, farm-raised chicken for our family and community. 🐥🌾🚜

🐔🌿 From pasture to pantry! 🌿🐔

Homemade chicken stock made from our own pasture-raised chickens right here on the homestead. Slow-simmered with fresh vegetables and herbs, then pressure canned to stock our shelves with rich, nourishing goodness. Nothing goes to waste when you raise your own food. ❤️

IYKYK. 🐔
First round of chickens processed at the homestead today, and such a great feeling that comes with filling the freezer with food we raised ourselves.
It’s not the easiest way, and it’s definitely not the fastest, but knowing exactly where our food came from and being able to provide for our family makes every early morning, every feed bucket, and every bit of hard work worth it.
Grateful for the lessons, the process, and the food on the table. ❤️
