Hi Folks. I am so sorry. The last two years MFM was on the patio of the Inglebean Coffee Shop, which is now the Meandering Mallard. Unfortunately, for several reasons, MFM will not be there this summer, and, most likely, nowhere. There are only two vendors, and one of those will be there only for the month of June. Sorry we cannot serve you this year. Feel free to comment or question. You can find Tamarack Farm at Boalsburg Farmers Market every Tuesday 2-6pm with pastured lamb, greens, garden starts, veggies in season, multicolored eggs, and woolen products. We love you all--enjoy your summer and hope to see you somewhere. Best wishes to all and the success of the coffee shop, Mike

We all live in a beautiful countryside...And Fall is here (Spring Mills and Coburn area pics), with a number of nights of frost in colder places, including Tamarack Farm. Alas, the produce is all but gone and we bid adieu to another season of MFM. This year, due to a sparsity of vendors, MFM will, regrettably, not be retreating to Hosterman & Stover's Hardware for the winter. If we can, we'll see you again in May, 2023. Don't miss the popup at Rimmey Road Farm on November 5th though (see below). Tamarack Farm would love to be there, but we have Penns Valley Fiber Fest on the very same day. Thank you all who attend and care about our local Farmers Mkt!

Our Punkins for the Pigs event on November 5th (from 11-4pm) will feature a pop-up market!

Vendors include:

🍂Chef Jane Snock with baked goods made from organic ingredients and American mule-foot lard.

We're excited to see you there! Bring your used pumpkins to the farm to help feed the pigs and receive $1 off a sausage sandwich. The farm is adjacent to Rhoneymeade which is gorgeous this time of year. Bring a blanket and enjoy the day with us 🧡

Several of us will appear tomorrow on the Inglebean Patio for MFM. Pastured lamb and pork, fresh eggs, fresh greens, and possibly the last of produce (peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, tomatillos) for this season, some woolen items, and more. Come on out (pleeeaaase). Millheim Farmers Market is still going on at the back of the Inglebean in Millheim on Saturday 10am to 4pm. We love our loyal customers. Soon the sun will set on the outdoor market and we hope (at the end of October) to segue into Hosterman and Stover's Hardware to round out the year. This pic was all I could get of last Friday's sunset while driving home from setting up our wool event in Harrisburg. The hurricane sky was beautiful if not a danger farther south. Anyway, come out tomorrow to get the end of the season produce, pastured lamb, pork, and chicken, fresh eggs and more. Hope to see you there. Please support local farmers!

Just had some spectacular pork chops from Rimmey Road Farm--nearly 2 inches thick, marbled. Grilled them after marinating for several hours in olive oil, white wine vinegar, garlic, peppers, and other herbs/spices. Served with Tamarack Farm Greens & Beans, and pumpkin ravioli. OHHHH YEAHHH! You can score some chops and more this coming Saturday at MFM 10am-1pm. Tamarack Farm will be there with all lamb cuts and greens (and peppers and tomatoes depending on predicted frost), as will Melinda with baked goods and produce (onions, potatoes and more), and, we hope, Mark and Amanda with pasture-raised chicken and eggs.

Well we had a bit of this early this AM. The weather people are calling for steady drizzle/rain for Saturday (ugh!). MFM is very unlikely to take place tomorrow unless the meteorologists are totally wrong. Stay tuned! In the meantime, The Dutch Fall Festival will be held Sat/Sun in Aaronsburg so give that a visit. Lots of goodies and good people! Tamarack Farm has Knitter's Day Out event in Harrisburg tonight and tomorrow, but if the weather turns out ok Mike will be at the Inglebean tomorrow with produce and greens and lamb cuts/sausages. Ahhh, uncertainty!

What's growing in the woods these days. Edible 'shrooms. We cannot sell these at Millheim Farmers Market, but we will have plenty of veggies, greens, baked goods, lamb, pork, chicken, and eggs. will NOT be open this Saturday (September 10th). The vendors all have other committments, but will reassemble on the Inglebean patio on September 17th at 10am-1pm. Hi all you Penns Valley folk. Hope you will attend Millheim Farmers Market tomorrow on the Inglebean Patio (come in the back gate from the alley please). We will have meats (frozen pastured chicken, pork, and lamb), pastured chicken eggs, lots of produce (including beans of various types, greens, eggplant, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and more) and Amish baked goods (always tasty). We are open 10am to 1pm. We'd love to see you and chat. We also have yarn, felted soaps and more there.

Grab your coffee at The Green Drake and come for some Amish baked goods (Melinda), and pick up produce and greens from Melinda and Tamarack, frozen meats (Lamb cuts and sausage, pork) from Tamarack and Rimmey Rd Farm, yarn and other woolen goods, and more. We got a bit 'o rain, and guess what, a rainbow pointed to the patio at the back of The Inglebean where tomorrow (Saturday) we will have MFM with baked goods, lots of meats (frozen pork, chicken, and lamb), eggs, summer produce and greens and more. As of now, we anticipate MFM to open Saturday morning on the Patio behind The Inglebean in Millheim. Melinda will be there with her scrumptious baked goods and lots of veggies, Tamarack Farm will feature lamb cuts and sausages, greens, and veggies, and Rimmey Road Farm will have a full suite of pastured pork (see below). Saturday, July 30th: MFM is on! On the patio back of Inglebean. Have a coffee, great sandwich or more, then shop the meats (pastured pork and lamb this week) and veggies, and baked goods, yarn, herb plants and more. No rain in the forecast (we need some...), but cooler. See y'all there we hope.

Ahah! First, Inglebean came to us...now we come to Inglebean for MFM! Great folk helping us keep the market going. Tomorrow you should see Melinda with her wonderful baked goods and lots of fresh veggies, Green Valley Acres (Mark and Amanda) with pastured chicken and fresh eggs by the dozen, maybe some Chorizo sausage, and James Lesher with pastured pork from Rimmey Rd Farm. Tamarack will be cooking up a storm at a Spring Mills Yard Sale (Grace UCC multifamily sales). Please check out MFM and support hyper-local foods.

There will be Amish baked goods from Melinda and more, and frozen lamb cuts, greens, snow peas, and lots of wool items (yarn, felted soaps and more) from Tamarack Farm. Hi Y'all, tomorrow there will be a coupla' vendors at MFM Inglebean! Melinda will be there with her baked goods and lots of Spring veggies and strawberries (scapes, peas, you name it)! And Green Valley Acres will be there with pastured chicken (we can attest to how tasty this is), eggs, and some Chorizo Sausage and beef cuts from Senator's Farm. Alas, Tamarack Farm has another commitment unrelated, so...we will not be there. Stay tuned for new vendor announcement and thanks for your support! Tomorrow Everyone (who cares) MFM will go from 10am to 1pm on the patio of Inglebean Cafe! Melinda will be there with Amish baked goods, some spring onions, lettuce, and more. Green Valley Acres will be there with all kinds 'a chicken (whole, halves, parts) and pastured chicken eggs. Tamarack Farm will be there too with frozen lamb cuts, lots of greens (chard, kales, spinach, lettuce mixes, spicy greens, dill), and large, ready-to-plant veggie starts (tomatoes, peppers, eggplant) as well as yarn and more. Come on down. Coffee in Inglebean, awesome breakfasts, and please park in the Municipal Lot (not directly behind the Fire Company). Please be respectful of the good denizens of Millheim...best wishes!

We are a bit worried about how this will go, but we will try MFM out this coming Saturday (June 4th) with a few of your favorite (or at least loyal) vendors. Thanks to Inglebean Cafe we have a home for now in downtown Millheim. Come out please to patronize the Inglebean and get some fresh veggies, greens, baked goods and meats. Thanks for your patronage!

Hello again MFM fans/customers. We are sorry to report that the opening for MFM at Inglebean Cafe will be delayed until June 4th. Most of our farmers market vendors will be unavailable until then as the result of various issues. So please bear with us--we will open on the Inglebean Patio and surrounds at 10am Saturday June 4th with all the stuff for which you come to MFM. Thank you for your support and patience.

Folks, one reminder. Please do not park in the Millheim Fire Company paved lot to shop at MFM. The gravel/grass area is fine but the Fire Company and the Meat Market will be busy on Saturday mornings and that is their area. Respect our First Responders and their Members! Thank you!

No More of This....please! Yes folks, Farmers Market season has arrived. Millheim Farmers Market will open this Saturday, May 14th. We are MOVING (yes, with some regrets) from the Pavillion at the Legion in Millheim. We will set up on the Patio at The Inglebean in downtown Millheim (10am-1pm). Join us there please and have a coffee/breakfast/lunch inside then come outside to get your Spring veggies, meats, eggs, and flowers. Stay tuned for more updates this week.

Spring is here, still a chance of frost next week, but... CHANGES ARE AFOOT. Millheim Farmers Market will be moving from the Pavillion to the Patio at Inglebean in Millheim. We will open on Saturday, May 14th at 10am. Come and have coffee and scrumptious brunch in the Cafe then shop to your heart's content. Stay tuned for vendor information and other details.

I am sorry to report that MFM will not look like this, or anything except empty, tomorrow, Saturday, Dec 11th. All vendors have other commitments, but we hope to be there next Saturday (Dec 18th) for the last market of the year. Thank you for your support through 2021!

Zucchini and cukes starting to come on. We will soon have summer veggies, including tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant, in abundance (but not quite yet). Join us this Saturday at MFM under the pavillion. Meet our new egg vendor--Heavenly Happy Hen Eggs--from Aaronsburg. We are continuing to add new vendors so stay tuned.
