View from the Tractor Seat ~ Tom As I look back from the seat I have turned a lot of soil and grown a lot of crops. It's time to pass the plow! After much thought, we have decided that 2024 will be our last year operating the Farm Stand on Carpenter Road. It has been a WONDERFUL 14 years meeting so....

We still have lots of local tomatoes along with fall items! Corn stalks, straw bales small and large as well as pumpkins.

2011 was a big year for Tom Zilke and me as we left our former careers to open the Zilke Vegetable farmstand on Carpenter Rd. Here I am, hauling in an armful of turnips from that first growing season. Great memories!
