A close friend of the family has a gorgeous flower farm in the Hastings area, for those interested in beautiful blooms!

Welcome to Fern Valley Flowers! We are a small flower farm in southern Hastings, MN selling roadside mixed bouquets, flower buckets and dahlia tubers. Follow along to see updates on flowers, sales and maybe a duck or two!

If you’re on your way up north for the weekend, stop by. We are a couple miles off 169. The farm stand is open again today at Samuelson Acres. We just put out bunches of fresh cut chives. We also have unwashed chicken eggs, duck eggs and quail eggs in the cooler. They are labeled washed and un- washed. Also have a few canned items left along with goat milk soaps. Scents include midnight mist, unscented, rustic woods, and our popular lavender. Venmo and cash is accepted.

Random find of the day: our new property is home to a bunch of horseradish plants! Guess what’s coming to a farmers market near you this summer 😉

Last night, we were impacted by strong winds associated with a storm system located just to our south. The high winds resulted in damage to several flowering trees, destroyed our caterpillar tunnel containing seed starts, and knocked over our farm stand. We will be assessing the damage and start again.

The farm stand is back open this weekend! We’ve got ALL the eggs, including chicken (washed and unwashed), duck, and quail. We have very limited stock of canned goods from our produce, and we’re bundling up fresh chives. Plus, we have four scents for our goat milk soap, with more coming all the time. Stop by to say hi!
