It’s Soup Saturday!

This week we have Winter Squash Soup. It’s creamy and savory and tastes like fall! It is vegetarian but contains milk. $6 for a bowl or $12 for a quart to take home.

Fall Fund Raiser for the Juniata Co. Food Pantry

Help us decorate the store for Halloween and raise funds for the Food Pantry! All proceeds go to the Food Pantry.

How it works:

1. Buy a small carving pumpkin from the marked pallet for $2.

2. Take it home and carve, decorate or paint your pumpkin as you like.

3. Bring your pumpkin back to the store by October 24. Be sure to log in your pumpkin with the cashier!

4. On Oct 24, we will hold open voting for $1 per vote at the store. The pumpkin/person with the most votes will receive a $50 Juniata River Commons gift certificate.

5. Come see all the pumpkins on display lit up in the evenings for Halloween week, from 10/26-10/31.

We are fully stocked with late summer favorites like strawberries, raspberries, zucchini, tomatoes, and cucumbers. This may be your last chance to get them as farmers transition to fall crops. Supporting local farmers is the best way to keep our local economy strong! Open until 7 pm tonight for your shopping convenience!
