The Quail Hunt Court Cottage Market meets today, Saturday, October 10 from 10 am to 2 pm. Come out and enjoy some pastries and hot coffee to start your morning! We’ve got pumpkin cream cheese muffins, cinnamon rolls, bagels, pound cake and some beautiful sourdough breads! You will also find many items offered for sale that are hand-made by your neighbors and friends. We’ll have jewelry, fine art, many wonderful crafts, skin-care products and soaps, home décor & fresh produce like pumpkins, apples and tomatoes. You’ll be glad you stopped by! This will be our last summer-time cottage market. We will have one more market before year’s end--a Christmas Cottage Market on December 12 with live music! More about that later! Yes! We’re still on! Our Cottage Market will be held TODAY, Saturday, Sept 12 from 10 am to 2 pm, in spite of the forecast for rain. Our bakers have been busy making their wonderful home-baked goods. If it does rain too hard to stay outside, we plan to move our bakers inside (3102 in the little green house with yellow trim) so you can still purchase those delicious treats! We even have extra cinnamon rolls this time! We’ll have sourdough breads, a variety of bagels, pound cake, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and cookies for you to enjoy. Enjoy them with cold brew coffee! Christopher from Fields Roast, will be there selling his incredible coffee! In addition, we have handmade jewelry, skin-care products, soaps, fine art, beautiful home-décor, some Pokemon toys & keychains, also wood-burning & etched glass. We have some new vendors coming so please check out what they have to offer.

We are a group of cottage industry artisans, who gather to "share our wares". We offer everything from baked goods, fresh eggs, jewlery and fresh-brewed coffee to handmade soaps/skin care items, as well as fine arts and crafts. Our market is held the second Saturday of each month, May - October, from 10 am - 2 pm. Come see what we have to offer!

Vendor Feature: Our next artisan is Jeremy Case and his son, Sawyer. Jeremy writes:
"Our business is called Poke Stop RVA. We make 3D-printed Pokémon figurines and keychains as well as dragons, fidgets, and more! We focus on high-detail figures and are always expanding our collection. My son, Sawyer, discovered 3D-printing at a local library. We started making prints together and then discovered that we could merge his love of Pokémon with his newfound passion for 3D-Prints, and the rest is history. We love offering new Pokémon each month.

My family’s second favorite activity, when we’re not catching Pokémon, is playing with Legos. I discovered a Lego dragon that mini figures could ride on. We will offer a make-your-own minifigure with each dragon starting in September!

The QR codes on the flier are for my email (right) and the main collection of figures that we can print and sell (left), but any can be created! Email is the best way to contact me ([email protected]) to discuss what you would like to see in the future, custom orders, or any 3d printing related questions.

The next vendor we want to feature is Michael Bollinger, a fine artist who says:

I've been creating, drawing and painting as far back as my memory takes me and as a child was always drawing my surroundings. As I grew older into young adulthood I veered off into surrealism. My current art interest is mostly objects, places and people from the past, vintage 1960s, 70s and 80s stores, automobiles, consumer goods, however I've also been exploring landscapes and Abstraction to a degree. I paint in both Acrylic and Oil mediums but also enjoy pen and ink. My paintings have been shown at central Virginia galleries, restaurants and even Salons. My hope is that my art provides a visual that is detailed enough to hold the viewers’ eye and simply be fun to look at, and most importantly, fun to create.

Vendor Feature: Our next Vendor Featured is Leslee Wallace who owns & operates Leslee's Loaf and Crumbs.

Hi, I’m Leslee — wife of 30 years, mom to 8+4, and Gigi to 3! I’ve been baking for my family and friends for decades here in Midlothian, VA. Creating homemade treats is truly one of my favorite things! Ingredients matter to me, I avoid seed oils, use raw honey, unbleached organic flour and whole wheat flour that I grind myself! When I use sugar it is organic and unrefined. The only olive oil I use is one traceable to a good source and I use Mediterranean mineral salt.

I specialize in Sourdough Butter Croissant Rounds, Sourdough Sandwich Loaves, Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls with Brown Butter Icing, Seasonal Cookies and Sourdough Focaccia.

There will be many wonderful home-baked goods such as a variety of sourdough breads, bagels, pound cake, pastries, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and cookies for you to enjoy. Enjoy them with cold brew coffee! Christopher from Fields Roast, will be there selling some of the best coffee you’ve ever had! Also Life’s Lemons Lemonade will be there with their ice-cold home-made lemonade—perfect on a hot day! You’re going to want to try a glass! Enjoy your treats in the shade of a tent set up for our guests.
