A few moments ago I herd a news report about individuals making false reports of people in need rescue in the hurricane areas. This false report caused rescue teams to be diverted away from areas of real need. Please help others to not send false info to rescuer or to social media. The responders are monitoring social media to find reports of people in need.

30 minutes the storm has killed all power in our area. LG&E estimate that it will be a few hour till they can evaluate the issue. Those of you who are in the Middletown, KY area stay safe. Call 911 if you are in danger.

Attention First Baptist Folks!! This is a reminder that we will worship outside in Wetherby Park tomorrow morning at 11 AM. There will be no Sunday school or extended teaching care. The weather looks to be spectacular. You can bring an outdoor chair or the deacons will have some folding chairs. you are also welcome to bring your own chair. Because we were rained out earlier this year, this will be our only outdoor service this year, unfortunately! Wetherby Park is just slightly east of the church on the same side of old Shelbyville Road. The service will end with the commissioning of ourMacedonian mission team. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
