🐐 The cooler is FULL! 🐐 We picked up our beautifully packaged goat from Blue Ridge Meats of Front Royal yesterday and I’m coming to market stocked up. Stew meat, round steak, leg and shoulder roasts, shanks, chops, and curry sausage... all the stuff!

I’m rocking all three Spotsylvania Farmers Markets this week. Come say hi and check out my awesome market neighbors while you’re at it.

Happy National Farmers Day! 🌾

Here’s the truth: Blue Ridge Meats wouldn’t exist without our local farmers. Period.

And we get it, because a lot of us are farmers too. We know the early mornings, the long days, and the weather that never quite cooperates. We know what it takes to raise an animal the right way, and that’s exactly why we treat every one that comes through our doors with the same care you gave it.

Blue Ridge Meats made the college paper! 📰

Clara Belle Beck, niece of our owners Doug and Lois Aylestock, wrote about us in The Blue Banner at UNC Asheville. She remembered the fresh bacon, delicious summer sausage, and always knowing where her food came from, and called it "a labor of love and a community effort."
