Facebook keeps trying to say we are open even though I switched to temporarily closed back in November when the 2025 season ended. 🤦‍♀️ I guess the Facebook algorithm is hungry for fresh fruits and veggies too! Opening day is looking like Friday June 19.... until then, here are some pics of the tomatoes 🍅, eggplants 🍆, garlic 🧄and peppers 🌶 🫑. If you drive past this week and see us outside weeding peppers, honk your horn!

Wonder if they ever recovered from their crop failure? 🤔🤣

In other news....our ground is being worked and the plants are growing nicely in the green house just waiting for that last threat of frost to pass so they can get planted. Garlic weeding is happening this week as well. The next 2 months will be busy as we prep for the 2026 season which will start in mid June!

The bag went viral almost immediately, with people pointing out that the design is nearly identical to something you can buy in bulk for a few dollars at any grocery store. Balenciaga has made a pattern of releasing products that blur the line between luxury and absurdity, including a destroyed sneaker for $1,850 and a bag modeled after an IKEA shopping tote.

Whether it's genius branding or proof that luxury fashion has lost the plot depends entirely on who you ask.

Howdy folks! Hope your winter is going well! Thought I'd share a pic of my supper since I never make this in the summer. Good old pot roast.... white potatoes 🥔, candy onions 🧅 and carrots 🥕 thrown over a piece of chuck roast with some beef stock in my agate roast pan (the kind my Mam would always use). Cooked in the oven at 350 degrees for 3 hours.... talk about comfort food 😋.

Today's weather was pretty nice! We're getting closer to the 2026 season!
