🌿Hello Everyone!
Now that all our "money pit" interior problems are solved (🤞fingers crossed🙌) we have been able to focus on the outside colors. Hopefully, we can start working on the outside in the next 2 weeks.
I'm searching for an antique wood door for the front entrance of the shop... please message me if you have one for sale or know of one similar to the picture🚪 We are also picking out flooring this week and AND a new toilet.🚽 So exciting!!😂

I've come across a few photos of the building from the 1940's -60's 🥛It was Reynold's Creamery. Edna Reynolds is pictured in front of the window with the items they carried. They had fresh made icecream...milk.. cheese.🍦
Apparently, Mrs. Reynolds was the shop keeper while her husband ran the gas station that was on the property's corner. People would stop in for icecream before walking to the movies down the street. My husband likes to restore old photos, hence the color picture. I'm debating if Edna's fashion trend would be a look for me🤔 I did have to wear saddle shoes all through my catholic school days😊 so, maybe!
Thank you Jill at Historic Meigs County for sending me these pictures! Treasures! 🔆

My logo was a creation from the Hepatica Flower and its meaning. Almost 20 years ago I discovered this healing plant in a book. Living in Florida at the time, I read the paragraph that explained the hepatica is profusely found in the Appalachian Woodlands of South East Ohio and across the River Valley of Meigs County, Ohio. I had never heard of this area, let alone known anyone from here. But, that was the beginning of connections and synchronicity that guided me to move here just over 3 years ago. Originally from Philadelphia, with a 20 year detour in Florida, it finally feels I've found my home...where I belong...where my roots are connecting. My husband and I purchased this property with a vision of a community hub. A place where traditional talents, homestead farm products, and Appalachia traditions are celebrated in everyday life. Please join me for this amazing adventure of reviving a piece of history, as I prepare to fill it with the essence of the heart and soul of the community.

The flower in the logo represents rebirth, health, simple beauty, and a strong connection to local roots.
