A member of the community called and said some bees took up residence in a bag on the back porch. I went over and simply zipped the bag and took them to our apiary. Thinking I was going to relocate the bees to a nice comfortable beehive, I was surprised to learn this was an aggressive hive of yellow jackets.
I’m sticking with the honey bees.

Bee sure to give us a call if you have a swarm of bees on your property…or if you’re in need of local honey.

It was another bee hive relocation last night. Another hive joined their sisters at the Ohio Red Barn Apiary in Germantown. This is hive 3 of 6 that’s being relocated.

Our goal is continue to provide the local community with honey all year round.
