Today is our 52nd year anniversary🎉🎉🎉 I don’t even know how this is possible but Mainzer’s delicatessen and European market is 52 years young today. I am so thankful for this achievement. It has been one wild ride!
I am so grateful to have been a part of this community for the last 52 years and I consider so many people that I know from here,  friends and family🥰 we definitely are a unique little shop we make everyone happy by finding things they can’t find other places that bring them joy 🤩 I love meeting new people and this is why I love my shop as I have the most extraordinary kaleidoscope of people visiting us.

Thank you 🙏 all for being a part of our lives !

Season Greetings Everyone!!!
It's been a really long time since I have posted anything! I wanted to share a few things that we have in the store right now or possibly still have things are going pretty quickly!
I would like to thank everyone for their continued support or their support in the past, or maybe their support in the future. I am very grateful. I am so happy that I can get up every day and come here and do my thing!

Georgia blew my mind today when I was told that she was 100 years old!!! And I was like what!!! I hope if I ever get that old I am like you she’s very independent lives on her own and is quite the comedian. Thank you for making my day today Georgia and Susan , you really lifted my spirits 💖

We all have so much to be grateful for! 🎉

Today is a very special day for us it marks our 50th year anniversary! Mainzer’s first opened September 30, 1972 by Elizabeth and Helmut and Strissel. They lost their partner early on and my mother-in-law and father-in-law( John & Inge Oswald) joined them several weeks later. My husband Ron and I took it over in 1989 and raised my daughter Lauren here. It's really hard to believe that so much time has passed. I'm so happy that I can keep our little Store going it means so much to me! This neighborhood and all the people that visit us from all over helps make our store so special. I have made many dear friends and family here.
If anyone would like to share stories or photos please do there is certainly a lot of history here to share. I am going to see if I can find some more photos as well to post it should be fun!
