MOJ is pioneering a tea field solar system, where solar panels are placed over shelf-shading structures, generating clean energy and nurturing the tea fields below. π΅β‘
This dual-purpose technology, introduced by Kunikazu Mochitani in 2018, does more than create sustainable energyβit protects the tea bushes from frost damage in early spring by keeping warmer air close to the ground. Itβs a beautiful synergy of nature and technology! πβοΈ
