Pick up any salsa jar at the grocery store and actually read what is in it. We will wait.

There is a reason Chef David started making his own. Fresh tomatoes, real peppers, whole garlic, ingredients that actually belong in salsa. No preservatives creeping in at the end of the list. No fillers disguised with complicated names.

Saucy Gourmet exists because good salsa should not require a compromise. Four varieties, one standard, and it is the same standard Chef David holds in every professional kitchen he has ever walked into.

Real ingredients. Worth it every time.

#1 reason why our salsas outperform every single time: the ingredients.

We use California grown vine ripened tomatoes. Not shortcuts. Not fillers. Just real tomatoes.

Fresh garlic only. We do not use jarred garlic, garlic powder, or granulated garlic.

Tomatillos also known as the Mexican husk tomato. A lot of people don’t know about these but I love them. They are extremely used in Mexican cuisine and bring depth and brightness to our salsa.

Fresh limes for acidity. Real citrus that makes everything pop.

Jalapeno peppers. These are what we use in our classic salsa to bring just enough heat to highlight all the flavors.

Serranos. We use these in our salsa verde for a sharper, more intense heat.

Roasted pineapple salsa uses habaneros. Hot, fruity, and powerful but balanced.

And then Trinidad Scorpion peppers. Over 800 thousand Scoville units. These are extremely hot. Do not eat them raw. Do not bite into them. They will knock your socks off.

Every ingredient matters. Every level of heat matters. That is why it hits different.
