Tonight is the night! Come join is and show support to out little canal town!

Tomorrow from 5–7 PM, a group of our market vendors will be coming together at the Mill in Metamora to help with cleanup efforts around town.

We may be vendors, but we are also neighbors—and we want to do our part to help our community get back on its feet. 💪

We will also have a truckload of corn being brought down as a donation to help provide food for those in our community who are in need. 🌽❤️

If you’re able to come help with cleanup, we would love to have you join us! Let’s continue to come together, lend a hand, and show just how strong really is.

Today is Farmers Market day!!! Things have changed to a work day!! Bring your friends and meet me for 2 hours this evening to work to bring some relief to Metamora!!

Also in Farmers helping Farmers style Ricke’s Meat and Market is bringing a truck load of corn! Some fresh produce is a nice change! Come gather what you need at the Metamora Grist Mill. I saw someone wanted to have a cookout to bring some relief to the kids. Come and get all the corn you need to make that amazing!! Grill some fresh corn for your street party!! See everyone tonight!!! This small town continues to amazing me with all the love that it has!!

In every distaster that has hit this state one thing I can always remember is Farmers helping Farmers.

As in true spirit of community and love with have a vender from the past that opened their own store returning to bring a truck load of corn on Tuesday. If you would like some fresh produce please stop by Tuesday evening starting at 5pm at the Grist Mill. Please give a huge shout out and appreciation to Ricke’s Meat and Market of Greensburg, In.

CURRENT SUPPLY NEEDS
Our needs are continuing to change as cleanup progresses. Right now, some of our biggest needs are dehumidifiers and fans.
We can also use:
Tarps
Crowbars and pry bars
Hoses
Pump sprayers for disinfectant
Bug spray — the mosquitoes are in full force!
Sunscreen
Bubble wrap

We are currently at MAX CAPACITY on clothing and do not need any additional clothing donations at this time. Thank you!
We are incredibly grateful for everything already donated. You all are amazing!! We will continue updating this post as new needs arise and as current needs are fulfilled.

🌿 — LET’S COME TOGETHER! 🧹❤️

Instead of our vendors setting up for our usual Tuesday evening market, we would like to use this time to come together as a community and help with clean-up efforts throughout the area.

Due to the flooding and the impact it has had on our community, the market will be closed until further notice to allow time for clean-up, recovery, and for everyone to focus on what matters most right now.
We would love to hear from our local homeowners and shop owners about which upcoming Tuesday evening would work best for a community clean-up day. 🏡

Our hearts are with everyone in Laurel, Metamora, and the surrounding areas who has been affected by the flooding.

So many families are facing uncertainty, displacement, and loss right now. Please keep them in your prayers — those who have had to leave their homes, those who are working to help others, and everyone who is hurting during this difficult time.
I’m thankful to know that so many people in our communities are coming together to help one another. ❤️

Due to the possibility of inclement weather at the beginning of the Farmers Market, we have made the difficult decision to close for the safety of our shoppers, vendors, and community.
