Rhubarb season is here in Wisconsin, and we want to know:
Have you ever tried rhubarb lemonade?

This sweet-tart spring favorite is a delicious way to enjoy one of Wisconsin's earliest seasonal crops.

If you've made it before, share your favorite recipe or tips in the comments.

Simple Recipe:

Rhubarb Lemonade

4 cups chopped rhubarb
4 cups water
1 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
1 cup fresh lemon juice

Simmer rhubarb and water for 15–20 minutes.
Strain and cool.
Stir in sugar and lemon juice.
Serve over ice.

We have a variety of home baked goods, crafts, vegetable starter plants, flowering hanging baskets, handmade soaps (smells soooo good) 😊, beautifully….and we mean BEAUTIFULLY crafted birdhouses, bird feeders, walking sticks, natural outdoor comfort oil, asparagus, farm fresh eggs 🥚, radishes, onions and so much more!!

📣📣 Merrill Area Farmers Market OPENING DAY!

It’s cool, but don’t let that stop you for coming out for our opening day.

You can find a HUGE variety of vegetable starts, beautifully crafted bird houses, gems and jewelry hand-made, homemade soaps and crafts, baked goods, radishes, onions, garlic farm fresh eggs 🥚, locally raised meat (beef, pork & lamb).

📍Located at Normal Park 600 N Center Ave, Merrill.

FUN FRIDAY: What local food are YOU most excited to see first at Wisconsin farmers markets this season?

Early May in Wisconsin means the season is just beginning, but some local favorites are already starting to appear:
Spinach
Lettuce & salad greens
Chives & herbs
Green onions
Mushrooms
Maple syrup
Farm fresh eggs
Plant starts & hanging baskets

And before long… asparagus season will be here!
