Most of the time our posts are joyful or hunger inducing. Today is a sad one. We said goodbye to our sweet Esmeralda. She had earned the title of The Bestest Pig because of her awesome temperament and gentle nature. She was the hands down favorite of all the pigs here. She would come and beg for scritches and then flop down so you could reach her belly. Produce was her most loved treat and she would lay down and roll in any and all fruit even leaving feed to go get a pumpkin or apples. She gave us many lovely piglets and has been retired and living her best pig life for the last 1 1/2 years. We will miss her and her cute face.
