It is with great sadness that we must announce the official closure of the McKinney Pokemon League. We lost our venue of many years during Covid and were unable to find a new venue that met the current requirements for a League location. Thank you to all the players and parents to have come through our league, participated in a pre-release and other events that we helped staff over the last decade; we were glad to be a part of your lives. We had close to 600 player IDs for our league data and know there were many more players and family members that we interacted with. Whether you still are active in Pokemon or have moved on to other ventures, we wish you the best in your endeavors.

We offer play two different days a week for two different play experiences.

Tuesday at 6:00pm is casual play. Bring your deck, meet new trainers, and capture all their Pokémon! MUWAHAHAHA make new friends. This is also a great event for learning to play the game!

Sunday at 2:00pm is structured competitive play. The store will pair you up with other players and let you fight it out to see who is the best trainer of all!

Cost for either event $5 per player.

Suzanne and I finally opened our last Battle Boxes. Suzanne's deck generally did better (of course) but in our second game I was able to use Smeargle's Live Painting for 270 damage!

Mike and Suzanne will be picking up prerelease product Saturday morning (maybe we will see you there) - we will hop on discord for virtual league once we get back home.

If you ordered pre-release product, pickup is this Saturday, June 5 in the Walmart parking lot.
If you have not ordered any but would like to, at last check there were still a few kits available. This is the build-n-battle box plus packs that you would get at a tournament for not yet released product. TPCI has not approved in-person gatherings yet so no tournament this time.
