Welcome to Six Twenty Three Homestead! 🌻

I’m Rachel, and around here there’s usually something cooking, something growing, and another homemade project underway!

This is where I share easy meals for busy families, from-scratch favorites, garden harvests, preserving, handcrafted homestead products, and everyday life here in Mason County, Illinois.

Some days we’re making homemade brats. Other days, we’re throwing together a 10-minute lunch because there’s plenty else to get done. You’ll find a little of both here! ❤️

I love the kind of home that feels like Grandma’s—something good in the kitchen, stories around the table, and making the most of what you have.

10-minute pizza quesadillas for the win today. 🍕

It’s homemade brat-making day around here, so lunch needed to be fast.

These took about 10 minutes total from start to finish and were exactly what we needed — quick, easy, cheesy, and kid-friendly.

Definitely one to keep in your back pocket for busy days.

After a VERY busy few months, Six Twenty Three Homestead is officially back on social media! 🙌🌿

And apparently the garden decided to welcome us back with a full-time job. 😂

This is JUST tonight’s harvest! 🍅🌶️🥒

I already put 45 POUNDS in the freezer today, my sink is full, and I have officially reached the “somebody please take this produce” stage of harvest season. 🤣

So tonight’s haul is getting shared!

It’s been a little while since we’ve checked in, but don’t worry — we’ve been busy behind the scenes at Six Twenty Three Homestead!

This winter has been full of long days rendering tallow, restocking your favorite products, testing a few new creations, and getting everything lined up for garden season. 🌱 There’s never a dull moment around here!
