We have an excellent variety of vendors this week and some new vendors joining us at the Farmers' Market.

Come on out and shop what our local farmers have to offer. Grab some fresh veggies, bread for the week, quality cuts of meat, spice mixes, jellies, and more. Many garden-ready plants for your flower or vegetable garden.

Don't forget to stop by the POP Club tent for your kiddos. This week we have a story for them.

✨️VENDOR SPOTLIGHT ✨️

Papa G's Beef Jerky 🧑‍🌾

As we continue our celebration in highlighting beef vendors, Papa G's is more.

He uses ground beef to form his tasty jerky, adds his secret ingredients, and then places them in the dehydrators to work their magic. These dehydrators allow him to work up 40 pounds of Beef at one time.

His jerky comes in two flavors:
🤠 Original
🔥Hot

What sets the Hot jerky apart is his use of cayenne pepper. It adds a smokey heat that sneaks up on you and is sure to please all the spicy food lovers out there.

In addition to his jerky offering, he also offers from his Cedar Glades Farm, St. Croix Lamb meat, New Zealand Rabbit meat, and free range chicken eggs!

When asked what his favorite farm animal was, he said the rabbits. But he has a history with rabbits: he used to show them. He had won many ribbons, including 2nd place in Oklahoma for the National Rabbit Association and one of his bucks winning Grand Champion! 🏆🐇

H.G. had two pieces of wisdom for us:

"Experiment with different flavors and ingredients. You never know what will make your product set apart if you don't try new things together. This is how I came up with my jerky recipe."

"One thing done well is better than four or five things done okay."

Papa G's Jerky will be set up this week at Marshfield Farmers' Market. You can come by Friday from 2:30pm-6:30pm and try his popular jerky for yourself. Or maybe pick up some free range eggs for your family, or even some rabbit meat! He would also enjoy just saying hi. Our POP Club had so much fun Friday decorating flower pots and planting flowers for Mother's Day on Friday. 🌱🌷The kids enjoyed getting their hands dirty creating something beautiful for the Mom in their life.

If your child made one for you with us, be sure to comment below with a picture of their work! We would love to see them.

These lovely plants were donated by Marshfield's own Grass Roots Garden Center & Gifts. We can't thank you enough!

We had a beautiful day yesterday out at Marshfield Farmers' Market.

This time, one vendor sold out, and two others almost sold out! 😃 Our young entrepeneur was Evan's Bait Company. Be sure to visit him before your next fishing trip.

If you haven't came and checked out what all our vendors have to offer, you are missing out.

✨️Vendor Spotlight✨️

Zahn Farms

Zahn Farms has been a staple to Marshfield Farmers' Market with their grass-fed beef. But they also bring so much more to the farmers' Market.

🥩Quality cuts of Beef
🥓 Pork
🍗 Chicken
🫜 Many garden produce including tomatoes, bell peppers, Jalapeños, green beans, potatoes, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, and so much more.
🍓 Fresh fruits including strawberries, Blueberries, Blackberries, and catawba grapes. Along with various apples, pears, and peaches.
🍬 Goodies including freeze dried candies, popsicles, herb mixes, seasoning, tomato powder, and more!
🖊 Quality handcrafted pens made on an antique cabinet that is at least 100 years old.

They also offer farm tours on their farm out in Elkland if you ever want to learn organic practices in your garden.

When asked if there were any tips, they said this:

"Always ask if you don't know. We've learned more just by asking questions if we do not know the answer."

"Stay away from chemicals as much as possible. It is so determental to your overall health."

Kick off for our Summer Season.
