I wanted to let everyone know that we are aware of an email sent out from a non-affiliated person asking for personal information and attempting to collect WAY more for a booth fee.
I want to reiterate that all communication for the market via email will come from the
[email protected] email address. On social media communication will only come from the Marion Cottage and Craft market accounts.
If you ever receive an email from someone else claiming to be tied to the Marion Cottage and Craft Market I suggest you block the email sender and report the email as SPAM. Never respond to the sender or provide the with any information.
On social media we do our best to quickly remove and report the fraudulent posts and block those persons from our pages.
For everyone’s awareness, there is a group of miscreants that stalk pages for markets and they attempt to phish am social engineer people out of money and personal information. They look for posts about markets, which vendors or guests are attending, and look for your contact information off of pages. It’s sad that this is a risk of conducting business.
To our vendors, thank you for choosing to attend our markets, your understanding, diligence, and patience is greatly appreciated. If any of you have questions do not hesitate to reach out to us.
