Here at Gastronomia Deli we have a bunch of imported meats and cheeses such as our mortadella with pistachios! Mortadella is a type of Italian cured meat that is similar to baloney. This type of charcuterie originated in the Italian city of Bologna in the 14th century. It's made with high quality pork, and a blend of seasoning and spices! Only 11.99 a pound here!

So lots of people have asked what is a tartine? The term tartine comes from france and is a toasted bread topped with an array of sweet and savory ingredients. It's similar to the concept of an open faced sandwich! Our mortadella ricotta tartine is a toasted Italian bread, topped with whipped lemon ricotta, mortadella, pistachio pesto, crushed pistachios, olive oil, salt and pepper and mint leaves!
