UPDATE: It's construction season everywhere and Veteran's Park (Triangle Park) is right smack dab in the middle of the construction occurring in Mahtomedi. When seeking information about how the construction would impact the farmers market this summer, Washington County advised it would be impossible to have the farmers market at Veteran's Park this summer.
But never fear! The preservation and continuation of the farmers market is paramount to the Mahtomedi Community and to the many vendors who come together to form the market. With this as the goal, the 2019 Mahtomedi Farmers Market will take place at the Mahtomedi District Education Center. The District Ed folks graciously agreed (with 100% overwhelming support) to allow the market to be held in their parking lot. There are a couple of important changes to make note of. The day and time of the farmers market had to be changed in order to coordinate with other community activities already scheduled at the District Ed.

Here is the lowdown:

The Market will be on Sundays this summer.
The Market time is 9am to 1pm.
The first day of the Market is June 16th.

The Mahtomedi Area Farmers Market starts Saturday, June 23rd, in the recently renamed Triangle Park. It is now named Veteran's Park. The market goes from 8am to Noon. Please come visit, have coffee, meet the vendors, and have a delightful Saturday morning in Mahtomedi.
