Just had to share, was a beautiful day yesterday out at Frankenboltz Brewery where a benefit was being held for a magnificent young lady named Phynley. Her benefit flyer is attached in the comments and there is a gofundme if anyone would like to donate.
The day is going amazing, I'm making lots of fresh squeezed lemonades and selling sweets, when I took a little break I entered the poker chip drawing (never have done this kind of drawing before so was cool how it worked. For those that don't know, there were chips with numbers from 1-75, which ever number you drew that's what you paid for a chance to win the item, if you drew 1 you literally paid $1 and so on, I drew #56) for a cooler full of libations and bought a few handmade items that 100% of the proceeds were being donated, also grabbed some raffle tickets and placed in boxes of items I'd like if I won.
Around 4:45 I had the pleasure of meeting Phynley and she wanted a lemonade and sugar cookies. She had just finished dancing at a recital and had come out to say thank you. Boy talk about tear filled eyes, yes I had crocodile tears pouring down my cheeks when she walked away. So composed myself and started cleaning up things and made a few more drinks and sold a few more items and had forgotten all about the drawings, well Phynley drew my number for the cooler full of liabations and I won a beautiful hand carved cross from the tickets I placed in the raffle boxes. God sure knows how to show you he's listening.
