Hi everyone.

My goodness, what a crazy couple of weeks. Not only did our processing equipment go south, our main freezer went out as well. I never want to see another repair person as long as I live.

I’m happy to report that we will reopen this coming Friday at 10:00 AM. We will be working hard over the next three days to catch up on production.

This message is for the customers who had placed an order with Danny last week for some sopresatta and other merchandise to go to Washington. You were going to pick it up today, and if you get this message on Facebook, he is there at the store with the equipment repair guys. give him a call and maybe you can arrange to pick it up before you get on your way to Washington.

Hi everyone.

In a previous post, I said that we would have pepperoni and capicola ready on Wednesday. I did not count on an important piece of our equipment breaking down over the weekend. In our production, we use several pieces of equipment that are Italian made, and when they break down, we experience delays in getting parts to fix them.

We are waiting on parts to resume our production capabilities, but in the meantime, we will not be able to open on Wednesday. I will keep you posted on when we are reasonably able to reopen our retail business.

My apologies for any inconvenience.

It is with great sadness that I post this.

We learned today that our dear cousin John passed away this morning due to complications from Parkinson’s disease.

John was the eldest son of our Uncle Gale and my Aunt Connie He was a beautiful soul. Kind, wise, and thoughtful. A good man, a wonderful teacher, and a highly successful and inspirational football coach. He was his Father and Mother’s son through and through.

He will be missed.

If so inclined, offer up a prayer for him and his wife Kathie, his daughters Gianna and Julia (Brandon) his son Gabe, and his grandson Miles.

He coached me as a young man. He instilled lessons in me that have served me well for a lifetime.

Take a moment to reflect on the things that matter:

Family. Friends Faith. Goodness. Kindness. Wisdom.

He is in the arms of my Aunt, My Uncle, and my Mom and Dad.

Rest in peace John.

Hi all.

A quick note to say that retail will be closed until May 21st. Danny is seeing a hand specialist tomorrow. We fully expect her to sign off on him playing his first gig in months since his hand injury on Friday at Gracie’s from 7-10.

To our wholesale customers, we will be monitoring incoming orders for seasonings , presses, and paper.

His recovery has been nothing short of a miracle, empowered by the fervent prayers and well wishes of many We are truly blessed. If so inclined, join us on Friday night from 7-10 at Gracie’s to celebrate such good news, and to enjoy some great music from a gifted artist

Following up on the previous post, the ceremony will take place in the Cyprus High School auditorium at 12:30 on Friday, April 25th. If any are so inclined, we extend a blanket invitation to join in the celebration.

Hi all.

Just a quick note to say thanks. Thanks for all of your heartfelt sympathies and prayers for Danny. I’m pleased to report that he is recovering well, and it appears that he will recover fully from his injury.

On a happier note, I must notify everyone that we will be closed this Friday to attend the induction ceremony for my Dad Ernie, and my Uncle Gale into the Cyprus High School Hall of Fame. We are honored and humbled beyond measure. My Dad and my Uncle were proud alumni of Cyprus High, and we are so very very grateful to the Granite School District, and the administration of Cyprus High School for recognizing that my Dad and Uncle were fine men who contributed much to our community.

We will be open on Saturday from 10-3.
